Maple Meadows POAs

What a 2011 POA International Show — great friends and conversation, extreme hot temperatures, a little golf cart fun, and success in the show pen. Any win at the International level is sweet, but one is made even more special to a breeder when it is a product of your breeding program. This International show again provided assurance that we continue to stay true to our vision, which is to be selective in putting together a group of mares and stallions that will result in the breeding, raising and showing of Champions.

After being named the 2010 Reserve Grand Champion Mare as a yearling, MM Streak Of Gold (Mia) had a successful revisit to the 2011 International, capturing the title of Grand Champion Mare. Mia then teamed with MM Midnite Tradition and MM Traditionally Blonde to be a part of the Get Of Sire Champions, sired by Santee Tradition (2006 International Grand Champion Stallion). Maple Meadows has recently dominated the International Get Of Sire class winning the last four years with Get from our Stallions, Santee Tradition and the late Santee Magnum. A special thank you to Alicia Lepage and Casey Eckert for being a part of the Get team this year.

2012 looks to be an exciting year with the arrival of the first foal crop by MM Mags Son Of A Gun, the 2010 International Grand Champion Stallion. If you are looking to start a breeding program or enhance your current one, give us a call or come visit and see what Maple Meadows has to offer.
