Chimney Hill Ranch

March 2013
Chimney Hill Ranch

Chimney Hill Ranch established itself in Crowley, Texas in 1984. Throughout its existence, the ranch has moved locations twice in the East Texas area, and is now located in the town of Chandler, Texas.

Both Tyler, Texas natives, Tommy and Suzanne Tomlin, strive to produce quality Pony of The Americas (POA's) that can perform in the halter and performance arena. Expectations of Chimney Hill Ranch horses include: respect of handler, calmness when being handled, and want to be near people.

Foals are shown as weanlings in halter, and as yearlings are begun in longeline and in-hand trail training.

The Tomlin's first broodmare was KK's Rio Tough (Doc's Built And Tough X KK's Goldie Locks). This mare proved herself in the showring as well as the breeding shed, producing CHR Rio Tough Tiger, and Supreme Champion, CHR Iced Tea.

In 2000, CHR Rio Tough Tiger became Chimney Hill Ranch's first standing POA stallion.

In 2008, CHR Rio Tough Tiger and Taysha Jill produced our next champion stallion, CHR Hez Tuff E Nuff. His accomplishments include: Reserve Grand Champion Stallion at the 2012 POA Congress & Reichert Champion.

We invite you to visit our website for more information on breeding to our stallion and our ponies for sale.

Thank you,
