A Trace Of Impulse

Nov/Dec 2017
A Trace Of Impulse

During his brief time spent in the industry thus far, the 6-‐ year-‐old stallion has amassed an impressive show record and is already hard at work siring the next generation of great POAs.

Trace began his career as a Western Pleasure Futurity horse during his 3-‐year-‐ old year and quickly proved he was going to be a top competitor. In addition to being named a 2 time Maple Meadows Western Pleasure Futurity Champion, he went on to be the JPFC 3-‐4 year old Western Pleasure Champion at the International Futurity, Senior Champion and Reserve Grand Champion Halter Stallion at the National Congress. Then, A Trace Of Impulse broadened his horizons winning the Maturity Trail at the International Futurity in 2016.

We are beyond thrilled that his first 2 foal crops are on the ground and that his foals are already taking after their sire in form, function, and personality.

Having a limited book his first two breeding seasons didn’t hinder his success as a sire. In 2016 he sired the Champion Select Sire Weanling Filly and Champion Select Sire Weanling Colt at the International Futurity. In 2017 he furthered that record by siring the Champion Select Sire Weanling Filly, Champion Select Sire Weanling Colt, Champion Yearling Filly, and Champion Yearling Colt at the International Futurity. A Trace Of Impulse may be the only stallion in POA history to have accomplished such a record.

A Trace Of Impulse is standing at Select Breeders Southwest in Aubrey, Texas. For more information about breeding to A Trace Of Impulse, contact Haley at (660) 654-‐2031.
