How lucky I am in to be involved in POAS! Lucky to have met so many friends, lucky to have traveled to so many fun places, lucky to be able to ride HMH Super Sox, lucky to have had my sister Allison train Sox for me, lucky to have my brother Alex help with anything I needed, and lucky to always have the support of my sister Ashley.

Last year was an unbelievable year. I got to travel with my friends Kinsey Fling and Elizabeth Morgan. We first went to the Eastern Classic, laughed for 12 hours in the truck and ended up all winning highpoints. How lucky were we! Then, since it was Lizzie’s last year, we hit the Midwest regional, the Rocky Mountain Regional, and the Western Classic. We truly were lucky by having such a great time and as a bonus both of us brought home highpoints at all those shows. Our last stop was the International, where Sox and I were lucky enough to win overall highpoint 9-12 girl, and Lizzie and Touch of Letters were luckytowinoverallHighpoint13-18girlandVersatility. Wehad so much fun traveling and never dreamed we could do so well. A summer to remember, there will never be another like it.

Now I have many thanks. Now first to my sister Allison for riding Sox as a youth and not letting my Mom sell her because she was such a huge project. .Allison kept with her and didn’t give up, Sox was very green and stubborn when we got her and Allison had to start from ground zero, but she never gave up. Thanks for all your help!

Thanks to our good friends the Flings who love to travel as we do. Leslie, thank you for all you do, you are like a Mom to me. Kinsey, thanks for all the laughs and making it all fun. Lizzie, thanks for putting up with me and all the long hours in the truck last year. Kinsey, it has been fun seeing how well you and Peppy have done - bringing home the girls saddle from your 2nd International - and I can’t wait to see how you and Cowboy do together. Finally, one of us will have a pleasure pony to ride!

Thank you Ashley. You are always there for pointers. With work and school I know you can’t travel with us as much as we would like, but someday we will hit the road together again. Thanks for you and Alex helping out at home while we are gone.

Thanks to the Dee Ann and Hayley Dolan for letting Beavers Best Yet teach me to ride. We share a special bond together having shared and loved Beaver so much. We will always miss him.

Thanks Mom and Dad. Of course without all you do, none of this would be possible.

Thanks to all my barn and show sisters, Katelyn and Klara Blumenthal, Noelle Juengle, Kristen, Taylor, and Jennifer Belote, Kayla Martin, Alexis Hackett, Kaelan Mcginnis, Stephanie Tadajewski, and Kenzie McFeely - what fun we have had at the barn and at the shows together! I am very lucky to have all of you as friends! Can’t wait till next year. Hopefully Trey, Hannah, Emily, Bailee, and Kaitlyn will join us at the shows in 2010.

Thanks to all my show buddies - too numerous to list, but our shows wouldn’t be so much fun if it wasn’t for Abby Nolen and Haley Potts. They are the best show friends I could have. Lucky me!

Can’t wait for 2010. Hopefully I will be able to ride my junior pony some if Allison decides to break down and give him to me. He is Sox’s baby and it will be fun keeping it all in the family

Good luck and have fun in 2011!
