First Year Showing POAs
We
would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone
involved in making our first year of showing POA’s
such a success. First and foremost we want to thank Megan
Vanderslice for all the countless hours of instruction,
grooming, washing, banding, driving (with tornados in
the rear view) etc. We can’t even begin to
thank you enough for all you do. The love you show for
the kids is amazing, you are like another family member
to Gentry and that means the world to us! Mike (Megan’s
husband) thank you for all the work you do at home making
it possible for Megan to haul our kids all over the country.
You’re the best and it never goes un-noticed!
To the
Verplanks, We can’t
even begin to thank you enough for letting Gentry show “Little Man Tate” last
year! Chad and I have been around a lot of horses in our lives and “Tate” stands
out to us as one of the very special ones. I never have been around a horse that
is happy to do 20 classes a day (with a great attitude I might add) and then
hop back into the trailer for 14 hours to do it all again. Tate you will always
have a special place in our hearts and thanks for taking care of Gentry! You
deserve the year off before your back at it again with Heidi Verplank as she
starts her youth career, job well done we love you “Tate”!
To the Meehan Family,
we want to thank you for giving us the opportunity to
purchase “Tru” (Tru
Royal Te) for Gentry. It was a Christmas morning she
will never forget! I know it was a hard decision for
your family, but we want you to know he is already so
very loved! Tanner we wish you much success in 2008 with
your new pony!
And last but not least to all the friends
we have made along the way. Thanks to all the great families
in the barn for all your help and support. Parris Schoppa
you deserve a special thanks for all the hours you spent
with Gentry in the truck this summer you’re the
best! Thanks to our Illinois and Iowa group for always
making it so fun where ever we go! Thanks to all our
Oklahoma and Texas POA friends! Everyone in this POA
organization has been wonderful and we can’t wait
to get back in the show ring. Good luck to everyone this
year and have a safe and successful 2008!
